3G Transportation Suite: Carrier Network Updates

In today’s dynamic shipping landscape, staying ahead of changes and continuously enhancing carrier network integrations is crucial to delivering a seamless shipping experience. At Descartes Pacejet, we’re committed to keeping you informed and equipped to navigate industry changes effectively. Here are the latest updates to our carrier network:

UPS SurePost Updates: What You Need to Know

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has introduced changes to its Parcel Select service, directly impacting UPS SurePost. Here’s what this means for you:

• Service Continuity: SurePost remains available for residential addresses in the contiguous 48 states. However, packages addressed to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories will no longer be supported.
• Alternative Solutions: For restricted destinations:
  • Use UPS Mail Innovations for PO/APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
  • Opt for UPS Ground or Air services for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories.
• Proactive Measures: UPS is returning SurePost packages destined for restricted areas to the sender, helping to prevent delivery delays.

We’re working to ensure our customers experience minimal disruption and can seamlessly transition to these alternatives. Reach out to us for support in updating your shipping workflows to reflect these changes.
