Microsoft Community Summit NA 2021 Overview and Highlights

After a successful Microsoft Community Summit NA 2021, we just want to say how happy we are to be back together in person with Microsoft users. As always, we enjoyed connecting with everyone at the event, and we had a wonderful time talking with our customers, partners, friends, and others in Houston.

Big thanks to everyone that said hi at our booth or took the time to speak with us last week. It’s always a pleasure to learn about the shipping issues affecting those using Microsoft 365 ERPs and explaining how Pacejet’s integration helps Microsoft users save time and money during this difficult shipping period.

Microsoft Community Summit NA 2021 Overview and Highlights

We noticed an overall sense of rejuvenation from those at the event being able to reconnect with the Microsoft community. For most of us, we haven’t seen each other in a very long time and everyone we spoke to mentioned how great it was to get out and see their colleagues and contacts again. Here’s to many more opportunities to do so in the future.

Overall highlights from the past few days:

• This year the overarching theme was making sure our customers and their success are paramount. This was evident throughout the keynote in addition to the idea that continued data connectivity between customers, ISVs, and Microsoft will be the biggest innovation to ensure customer success.
• One thing we noticed this year compared to others was the more immediate desire for attendees to make swift improvements to their business and learn which solutions and ISV’s can accomplish this goal quicker. There were less Microsoft users trying to build overall awareness than in the past, as most attendees were in the depths of information gathering and looked to quickly make decisions.
• When it comes to shipping, there were no surprises about the number one problem we heard…capacity, capacity, capacity. It’s an issue everyone is trying to solve and we talked to many about the need to focus on expanding carrier options, using real-time rating, and staying as flexible as possible in the changing shipping climate.
• We also want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that came out to the party we co-sponsored with Ellipse Solutions, Dynamicweb, and Vertex. We hope everyone had a great time unwinding, reconnecting with old friends, and meeting new colleagues.

To wrap up, we had an amazing time and are excited to continue serving those in the Microsoft space and look forward to the future. Cheers to a wonderful reunion of the Microsoft community and here’s to many more ahead.
