This General Descartes Pacejet Privacy Policy (also referred to as the ‘ Privacy Policy’) provides information on the collection, use, and sharing (collectively referred to ‘ processing’ or ‘ process’) of personal information by Pacejet Logistics, Inc. (“Pacejet”, “we” or “us”) in connection with your use of Pacejet products, services and websites which link to this Privacy Policy, as well as your interactions with Pacejet via email. This Privacy Policy also explains the privacy rights you have in relation to these processing activities.

In the event the third party which receives personal information is Amazon.com Inc, please note: Amazon.com, Inc. requires Pacejet to comply with its Data Protection Policy for Merchant Web Services related to the retention of personally identifiable information (PII). As such, data captured on Amazon orders only will be automatically overwritten by Pacejet. Through this process, PII will be destroyed and non-recoverable in adherence to Amazon guidelines.

5. Information Security

Pacejet takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information. These include internal reviews of our information collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where personal information is stored. Pacejet restricts access to personal information to Pacejet employees, and agents as stated herein. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, termination or prosecution in the event they fail to meet their obligations.
